![]() ![]() Thanks for your detailed explanations with the zip file. I could work on it only now because I had to some urgent matter to be done and and top of this I destroyed my LM installation and had to it all over again. I did try double clicking on freemind.sh in the File Manager, and it will run that way, too. I don't know what Freemind is, so I didn't know what to do with any of the other toolbar items. Then I clicked Help, Key Documentation PDF, and the documentation PDF opened. In Freemind I clicked on Help, Documentation, and it opened something. I didn't know whether Freemind needed to be run from a terminal or if it could be run by clicking on freemind.sh in the File Manager, so I opened a terminal, used the cd command to navigate to the folder that contained the freemind.sh file, and entered. So, I right clicked on freemind.sh, then clicked Properties, Permissions, checked the box for Allow executing file as program, then closed the Properties dialog. I assumed this is the file needed to run the program, but it needed to be made executable. I went into that folder with the File Manager and saw the file freemind.sh. That unzipped the folder freemind-bin-max-1.0.1. I right clicked on the zip file, then clicked Extract Here. Then I opened the File Manager and navigated to where I had saved the zip file which was /home/jim/Progs/Freemind.
